A Stamp dedicated to DOCG Suvereto

On April 11, 2016 the Ministry of Economic Development (MISE) has issued 15 stamps centered on wine as a flagship product of Made in Italy, the DOCG Suvereto appears on a stamp (0,95 eur) issued in 800 thousand pieces in the country.
It ‘a great recognition to the work done by the Wine Cellar in collaboration with the City of Suvereto and in past years with the Consorzio Vini Val di Cornia, who together have worked on the drafting of rules and regulations for making our wine unique and recognizable.
From 2006 to 2012, invited by the then Mayor of Suvereto Giampaolo Pioli, Hideyuki Miyakawa was the President of the Consorzio Vini Val di Cornia and personally worked for the common desire of many companies to obtain a Suvereto DOCG.
Since 2011 our Tuscanio Red and Coldipietrerosse are produced with DOCG Suvereto naming thus representing a clear expression of the peculiarities of our territory.
